Over 40 years ago, Brad founded The Dock Doctor with a simple commitment: take care of people, and the work will follow. What started as a small, hands-on operation quickly grew through word-of-mouth and loyal clients who knew they could count on honest work done right.

For over a decade, Shay—Brad’s son-in-law—worked side by side with him, learning every aspect of the business from the water up. When Brad stepped into retirement, Shay carried that same foundation forward, leading the next generation of The Dock Doctor.

Today, the company has evolved into The Dock Doctor Marine, expanding beyond repairs into:

• Ongoing dock maintenance programs

• Specialty dock remodels

• Aluminum welding and custom fabrication

• Full-service marine solutions

While our services have grown, our core hasn’t changed.

We are still a family-run business, built on long-standing relationships, repeat clients, and referrals that span generations.
